Giannis Mandalas

Biography

Yiannis Mandalas was born in Chios in 1962 and is the CEO of the publicly traded company MEDITERRA_mastihashop SA on the Athens Stock Exchange. He has been involved with Chios mastic since 2001 when he was assigned by the Board of Directors of the Chios Mastic Growers Association to reorganize the cooperative of the same name as a Board Advisor. In addition, he is the Administrator of the company “Traditional Products of Greece” S.A., the founder of the Center for Model Agricultural Applications IKE, and since April 2015, he has been the Vice President of Enterprise Greece. With economic and pedagogical studies at the Universities of Piraeus and the Aegean respectively, before his involvement with mastic, he worked as an Economic and Commercial Director for large groups in Athens.
