Biography

Yiannis Mandalas was born in 1962 in Chios and is the CEO of the publicly traded company MEDITERRA_mastihashop S.A. listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. He has been involved with Chios mastic since 2001 when he was entrusted by the Administrative Board of the Chios Mastic Growers Association with the restructuring plan of the homonymous cooperative, serving as a Board Advisor. Additionally, he serves as the Managing Director of the company “Traditional Products of Greece S.A.” and is the founder of the Center for Model Agricultural Applications IKE. Since April 2015, he has also held the position of Vice President at Enterprise Greece. With academic backgrounds in economics and education from the University of Piraeus and the University of the Aegean respectively, prior to his involvement with mastic, he worked as the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer for major corporate groups in Athens..
